PHOENICIA, Tyre. Philip I. AD 244-249. Æ (28mm, 18.47 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / COL TY RO ME TRO, Cadmus advancing right, head left, extending hand and holding scepter; in left field, two clasped right hands above murex. Unpublished in the standard references, but see CNG 100, lot 1753 for another specimen. Dark green to black patina, light roughness. Good Fine.
